Dorma Filtration is licensed by Health Canada to manufacture and distribute Class I medical devices, including 99PFE respirators, under Medical Device Establishment License 14230.

The N95 mask is NIOSH-certified and designed to offer respiratory protection for those who wear it. The “95” indicates its efficiency rate, which means that the respirator filters out 95% of non-oily particles in the air. It blocks very small particles (>0.3 microns), including droplets containing the coronavirus. This respirator is fluid-resistant and typically non-reusable. The “N” means “not resistant to oil”, and “95” is the efficiency rate.

Our respirators have a built-in filter made from electrostatic components with a filtration efficiency of at least 99% capable of capturing particles of 0.3 microns and larger. By contrast, a N95 mask has a particle filtration efficiency greater than or equal to 95%.

The Dorma 95 respirator is an elastomeric Half-Mask Respirator (EHMR) helps protect against certain particulate contaminants but does not eliminate exposure to or the risk of contracting any disease or infection. Misuse may result in sickness or death. For proper use, read and follow the Dorma 95 User Instructions.

The Dorma 95 respirator is intended to reduce wearer exposure to certain non-toxic particles such as those from sanding, sweeping, allergens, or processing minerals and/or materials.

It is designed for non-medical professionals and is proudly manufactured in Canada with a 100% Canadian supply chain.

The Dorma 95 is a 99PFE Elastomeric Half-Mask Respirator (EHMR) designed to cover the nose and mouth of the wearer in order to help provide respiratory protection for the wearer. The Dorma 95 has an integrated filter and no exhalation valve. This respirator has at least 99% filtration efficiency against particulate aerosols free of oil. The Dorma 95 can be cleaned for reuse up to 50 times. This product contains no components made from natural rubber latex.

1 Tested against 0.3 micron particles (mass median aerodynamic diameter) perU.S. 42CFR 84.

Dorma Filtration does not recommend this respirator for use with beards or other facial hair that prevents direct contact between the face and the sealing surface of the respirator.

Dorma Filtration recommends a maximum time frame of 4-6 hours to sustain comfort and breathability.

DO NOT use this respirator continuously for more than 8 hours. In heavily contaminated or humid environments the respirator may reach its filtration load more rapidly. The user must be aware of the respirator’s filter load throughout use. If breathing becomes difficult, immediately leave the contaminated area and don a new/clean Dorma 95 respirator.

The Dorma 95 respirator is reusable up to 50 times. It is an economical and eco-friendly alternative respirator mask. Note that the respirator must be discarded after 50 uses.

No. The Dorma 95 respirator has a built-in filter. The Dorma 95 respirator is designed to provide protection from airborne pathogens. It traps 99% of very small (0.3 micron) particles.

To optimize the life of this respirator, clean this respirator immediately after use: a maximum time frame of 6 hours is recommended. DO NOT allow organic substances (blood, mucus, etc.) to dry on this respirator or any of its components.

The Dorma 95 respirator is a reusable respirator with a filtration efficiency up to 99%. This entire respirator, including filter membrane can be hand washed with mild soap and water. All Dorma 95 components may be recycled.

Before use, store this respirator in its original packaging, away from contaminated areas, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture and damaging chemicals.

Between uses, store this respirator in a clean, dry environment, free from contaminated areas, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture and damaging chemicals. Dorma Filtration recommends storing the clean Dorma 95 respirator in a dry paper bag between uses. This respirator and its components may be stored and reused according to applicable local or facility infection control policies, up to 50 uses.

To put on the Dorma 95 respirator, cup the respirator in your hand, with the nosepiece at your fingertips, allowing the head strap to hang freely below your hand With the nosepiece up, place the respirator over your nose and mouth. Make sure that the respirator rests on the nose. The bottom part of the respirator should be placed between the lower lip and under the chin, depending on the length of the user’s face. Pull the top strap over your head, resting it high at the top of the back of your head. Then adjust the strap length through the eyelets so that the respirator comfortably covers both your mouth and nose. Fasten the clips behind your neck and pull the loose strap ends to tighten to an appropriate tension.

A seal check must be performed each time the respirator is put on. Use one or both hands to completely cover the respirator filter, and exhale. The respirator should budge slightly. If air leaks at the respirator edges, reposition the respirator on face and/or readjust tension of head strap to eliminate the leakage. Once the seal check is successful, the respirator is ready for use.
